Although not completely official yet I have the job. As there will be three women sharing all tasks involved, the current team will look at our strenghts and qualities and come up with a plan next week. If we (all three applicants) agree with the appointed tasks, amount of hours and offered wages it is all set.
The interview went well and it was certainly the most beautiful scenery and set up. I arrived a bit early as Joy went to day care at 9 am and the interview would commence at 10 am. The interviews were held in Minyirr Park itself, so outdoor. As the first applicant was being spoken to when I arrived I was refered to a walking track to the beach. Less then 5 minutes away over one dune and there I was waiting for an interview while enjoying Cable Beach. The ocean was calm, the day clear, the beach empty as far as the eye could see, what a way to 'prepare'! After my part there was another interview after which we would have lunch together. So I again went to the beach, had a swim and relaxed and then lunched with the team. I am very much looking forward being actively involved with Minyirr Park and hope to start working the week after the next. Which suits perfect as my commitment in Holland ends June 1st.
Broomestyle interviewing at it's best I reckon.
