Working in Australia can confront you with things you might not have ever known before. For some people it is common to take things on that you are not responsible for. And because you are a woman, or white or otherwise not recognised as a worhty person, you just have to take the blame. There are some philosophical ways in interpreting this kind of behaviour or treatment, maybe even enlightend ones. But I can’t and won't do it. Having always had sensitivity to hierarchy I have decided to draw the line. I respect and expect to be respected. That’s it. Wonder how that is going down. Might be job hunting soon...
